Basic Care

Handwash

Use cold water for best results, this method is best to save energy, the most sustainable way to care for your garment & the only way we recommend you wash your handloom fabrics.

Machine Wash

All our fabrics can also be machine washed, unless stated but be sure to use a gentle cycle at 30 degrees celsius. For our handwoven fabrics, machine wash at the mildest setting.

Use Mild Detergent

Use detergents with lower chemical contents or natural detergents to help the longevity of your garments & to wash consciously.

Line Dry

The recommended drying technique for all SUI garments is to line dry. If you choose to tumble dry, use a low setting. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY handmade fabrics.

Dry Clean

All SUI garments can be dry cleaned. It is recommended to dry clean our plant-based dyed garments for longer use. Use a green dry cleaner if they're accessible in your area & dry clean only when necessary.
